when parties happen, i do like you said and save calories through the day, but i also just eat like normal at the partry. if there are more than i think 15 restaurants they have to have nutritional info. So that may help you! Enjoy your time with your friends.

Hi! I'm not sure what a carvery is specifically, but it sounds like a place where there's lots of meat! :-) licklipsd.gif

For red meat, bison is a great option.

If you have to have cow here's what you want: 1) filet (low fat, tasty, expensive) 2) sirloin (a little fattier, still yummy if prepared right, and much more affordable), then 3) strip (yummy, a little fattier). The ribeye is the one to avoid. They are sooo yummy because they have lots of fat marbled in the muscle. In the states it's common for steak to be cooked with butter, so here I'd tell you to make sure you specify you want it cooked without butter.

If you like turkey and it's available, it's a fantastic option!

Lamb and pork can be very lean depending on the cut of meat.

Best of luck and let us know how it goes!!! eat.gif
