Hi all, it’s yourlittlescreamer ![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I’m very happy!!! You know why? It’s been my first week with MFP and I lost my first pound! Okay so really I was aiming to loose 1 ½ pounds, but that’s okay, at least I lost something![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I thought it would be a good idea to share my first week of changes.
3/11- day one, cut back tremendously on what I usually eat.
3/12- without doubt I struggled to eat less. Yay! Success.
3/13 – was on my best behavior. I tried to not eat much of what I’m used to eating.
3/14 – tried to keep what I ate simple (banana at dinner, cereal bar for breakfast). Since I was gone most of that day, I had no problem.
3/15- OH NO! my inner pig came out. There was a lunch party and Sonny’s was the main course. 1,059 calories in less than an hour.
3/16 –All that Sonny’s, man...and I was still hungry! That’s when I realized I would have to change some eating habits. Instead of eating junk food I ate fruit, yogurt, beans, and all that good stuff. By the end of the day I felt like I ate 2x the amount I ate on the 15th, and that's a good thing. I ate the same amount & earned hardly any fat calories. Eating healthy pays off.
3/17-logged in my typical eating habits for Wed.
Okay, so it wasn’t very glamorous. I had my faults and fare share of screw-ups.
I’m still learning. Maybe this week will be better. My goal is to make everyday like 3/16 (if possible)

Good for you!! 1 pound is awesome, and all the changes you tried so hard to make your first week is certainly a reason to be proud! Keep with it, take it one day at a time, and you will reach your goal! Nice job! :flowerforyou:0

Excellent work! Maybe since you're so close to your goal you might have more success with making your goal .5 or 1 lb a week instead of 1.5.
Keep up the good work!!!0
