Need more calories

What do you all do if you get to the end of the day and still have a LOT of calories left to eat. Suggestions? It happens a lot, especially on weekends. I will eat a late breakfast, so then lunch ends up closer to dinner, and I don't usually snack in between. I also exercise more on the weekends, typically. So what do I do to get the rest of the calories? Yesterday I was almost 400 calories under.

Nuts and peanut butter are two of my favorite standbys. But I love nuts.

nuts or nut butters! nuts are my go-to when I need extra calories to complete my day!

I don't usually have a left-over calories problem. On the rare occasion that I do, I reach for the peanut butter jar.

If you're having trouble meeting your calorie goal on a regular basis, eat more calorie dense foods.

Most people would say nuts- Me well I am allergic. So I tend to go for just simple granola and depending on carbs I might have a bowl of cereal. Something simple usually works. I have hard times on the weekend but when I have a ton left over I might grab some ice cream for a treat :)

Pre Log your food to try to keep yourself on a schedule.

Have a protein shake, fruit, veggies, cheese, or nuts to help add a few extra hundred calories where needed!
  • I have another question.. If you forget to eat early in the day... Is it a bad idea to suddenly gorge later? Or should one just eat a reasonable amount and accept that one wont get that many calories that day?
