Question for ladies who lift heavy

I've been doing some research into heavy lifting and have been inspired by some of the success stories. Quick question, none of you appear to have any cellulite!!! Are you guys just genetically blessed and never had it? Or did your heavy lifting/strength training help reduce it?

Sorry if this sounds odd but it's been bugging me!

Mine disappeared too PT thought it was to do with change consuming alot of protein plus the exercise (was also lifting heavy) also I was knocking back some protein shakes as well which she thought probably helped.

I powerlifted when I was younger 17 -24 very heavy, so i had my youth on my side, and i had very little cellulite, that said if you train heavy, do proper cardio and eat clean , you should be fine. Nobody said it was an easy fix. Plus whatever muscle you gain now , will help you in the the long run, after babies and when you start aging you will be grateful for it.....

Mine hasn't disappeared but it has vastly improved by weight lifting. I'm working on lowering my body fat a bit more, I'm hoping it will further improve.

Thanks ladies. Sounds like heavy lifting will at the very least improve the appearance of cellulite. Which is ok by me!

Ah very good point. Although the ageing process has already started for me. I'm 34.

I've been lifting heavy since I was 25. I'm 30 now. Haven't had any cellulite and don't have any now.
