Your TDEE will be extremely high due to high weight and being tall therefore it is important that you eat to maintain your body. You are looking at eating at the high end of 2000, to low end of 3000 calories a day counting your exercise. There is a great article here called "in the place of a roadmap" which you will be linked most likely, which explains why you need to eat that and why it could be a bad idea to eat under your bmr.
However I find that what works is to listen to your hunger, if your hungry eat, especially as you have many calories to use during the day, if your not hungry don't eat. If you average around your TDEE - 20% then you should lose weight easy :) If you eat too little then start eating more fatty and rich in calories food.
  • thanks:)
I think thats my problem, ive not lost any weight for 2 weeks now and im going gym every day...im eating around 1500 cals if that sometimes, but mentally i think the more i eat the more i will gain weight and not lose it... arghhhhhh.
I need re-educating in diet/food etc i think... im putting the work in gym wise, but struggling on food :(
  • Thanks, just been on it and according to that i should be eating nearly 3000cal, surely i cant lose weight eating that amount of calories?!?! just doesnt make sense, surely someone that is 23 stone and only eats 1500cal daily should lose weight?
