PROTEIN

Just started MFP on sunday and Im learning all the different things. The last two days, Ive done great staying under everything except protein. Is the a bad thing? I'm eating tuna, fish, grilled chicken breast etc. and wonder will this hurt or should i try harder at staying under. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and good luck to everyone

It kind of depends on your body type and activity. You can adjust the proportions for the three main macros (carbs, fat, protein) in your MFP settings if you feel like you need them adjusted. Perhaps it would be best to see if what you're doing is working first, then just play with them a little and see if things improve or not.

MFP's pre-set numbers aren't the be all and end all, and the protein number is usually on the low-ish side. Don't worry about it. :)
