Heavy Lifting???

Okay so I see a lot of people saying about heavy lifting, can someone please define to me what exactly heavy lifting is for a female in her 20's 5'5"??? Thanks so much!!

It depends on how much you can lift! Heavy lifting is however heavy the weights have to be for you to fatigue after 6-8 reps or so.0

around 85%+ of the amount of weight you can do for only 1 rep0

^^ Great answer. I'm 5'4", 25 y/o, and I can only bench 45lbs. Seriously. I try and I try to increase that damn number, but it's taking its sweet time. I can squat 90, lunge w/ 70, and do pull-ups with 55lbs assistance (I'm 130lb), and none of those numbers sound particularly impressive, but for me, it's heavy lifting. As long as you honestly feel you're pushing yourself, don't sweat it if your numbers are smaller than anybody else's.0 -
