Tell me your favorite snack to take on a hike. What do you put in your trail mix? Do you have a favorite homemade granola/nutrition bar that you (and your family) love?

    it's not for hikes, but the "trail mix" I make is loose granola cereal, dried cranberries, pistachios and almonds. Love this mix! Simple and yummy.

    Nothing exciting, I put in pistacios, raisins and pumpkin seeds, and sometimes some chopped dark chocolate.
