Favorite Fitness Gadget

What are your favorite fitness gadgets and why?

I love my dip belt and HRM the most.

1. Pull Ups/Chin Ups are great, but doing them with added weights is even better.

2. I am not always a great judge of my own heart rate. Running with my HRM allows me to run at close to my ideal pace for increasing my aerobic capacity.

Definitely my HRM because I HR train sometimes (like now). Plus it tracks my mileage & pace & I can import it directly to Endomondo, which in turn posts to MFP & FB. Double win.

I don't know if this really counts, but my fave is my Iphone and it's coaching apps. Keeps me going!

That is a nice feature! I have to use my gps enabled running apps on my Android/iPhone separately from my pretty basic HRM. Luckily most of the time I know the distance of my routes and I can live with uploading the data later.

I'm in love with how it's opened my eyes.
Never knew how many cals I burned, what zone I'm at, everything.

A barbell. Without it, everything else is useless.

That would be nice to have at home. Unfortunately I have to travel to the gym to lift.

I got a Fitbit a couple weeks ago, and it's awesome.

My HRM, my food scale, and my iphone are all extremely useful tools.

My FitBit! I have a HRM too and I do like it, but if I had to choose, it would be my FitBit, hands down :-)

    Barbell: Yes. Just...yes.
    iPhone: Totally counts.
Power rack: I am so jelly. I kind of like going to the gym though, I work at home so I need the change of scenery.
FitBit: I haven't had one but I did wear a Bodymedia Fit for the first 2 years of my weight loss. I researched both & based on how they work I felt the BMF would be more accurate - it has direct contact with the skin & measure skin temp, heat flux, & other scientific crap. I think some magic, too. Compared to FitBit it is a little more expensive & has a $7 monthly fee after a certain point, but the information it gave me was well worth the money IMHO. The only reason I stopped was because I started HR training.
HRM: Mine isn't the fancy GPS kind, it's a Garmin with a footpod that tracks the distance. I upload the data when I get home.
    Food scale: YES

I just remembered a few others:
Bluetooth headphones: I can't count the number of times I've hooked an earbud cord while flailing about on the treadmill & sent my phone flying
YakTrax: I don't get to use them often, but I did yesterday & it was AMAZEBALLS (Google 'em, they're a neat gadget for winter runners)
Fuel belt/water bottle belt: I hate stopping for anything except the bathroom when I run
    Shaker bottle: duh
    Blender: duh again
