Not Hungry

I had a 388 calorie breakfast (blueberry pancakes and turkey sausage @ about 8am). Usually when lunch rolls around (12am), I am hungry and eat a healthy lunch. However, today, I was not hungry at all. Believe me when I'm hungry I eat (I could never last very long "starving" myself...lol). Anyway, of course, like usual I was hungry around dinner time (4pm). I didn't feel like I was "starving" when dinner time came. I just felt like it was time to eat. I guess what I'm asking is this: Is it ok to not eat a meal if you are not hungry... I'm not asking to skip a meal to "lose more weight". I know that doesn't work and it's not healthy. But I've always heard, "If you are not hungry, don't eat."... well, today at lunch I wasn't hungry, so I didn't eat. Is this health? Is this ok.

Again, I wasn't starving myself or anything like that. I am a person that LOVES food. :-) Also, I typically eat meals at these times.

thanks
