I tried 30ds and it's killing me! Anybody else? Am I normal?

Actually last week everyday I walked, and do some exercises; but yesterday I tried 30ds for only 10 minutes and I couldn't... I think it's really hard even level 1... I can't imagine how can overweight people can do that. Am I normal? How can you do that?

Btw, I'm 85.5 kg (nearly 188 lbs) and 164 cm (nearly 5' 5'')...

All exercise is difficult if you are just starting out.

Some overweight people have been exercising for quite a while before starting 30DS, so they are in better shape cardiovascularly and can handle it better.

The trick is to just keep doing it. You'll never improve if you turn off the TV.

    It is hard.

However keep at it, take breaks but each time just push it a little more. Just a little.

You will get there, and be proud of what you have accomplished.

I've just done day 20 and moving on to level 3 tonight.

I haven't done any level non-stop as my heart rate seems to max out after each 30 sec burst and I need to catch my breath. I normally hit pause between most exercises (usually takes me twice as long to do it).

I just make sure that I do the full 30 secs of each exercise and try to keep proper form.

    Good luck.

There's another thread on the same topic, that might help:

Keep going with it, it does get better. - and that's true of new exercise you take up.

    Thanks everybody!
I can't even walk, maybe a few day later I can try again as craignev says with stopping sometimes...

I did day 2 last night and my legs feel like spaghetti. I'm probably weird, but I found that doing the squats actually stretched out my sore muscles and made them feel a little better. It was still really hard to get through. My 8 year old son did the workout with me last night. He said "mom, that was easy. you need to work out more!" Thanks kid!
