Is losing weight Hard to do? YES ! ! !

My losing weight and getting fit (body, soul and mind) is not a miracle that happens over night. It takes dedication, Lots of frustration and stress, trial and error and mega mega hard work. I put my self through all this because I am worth it. I know I will be a better me someday, It won't be tomorrow or next week, but slowly I am moving in the right direction. What I have to look forward to for all of this is... A happier me (very important), A skinnier me (to finally not shop in the plus size clothing stores), More energy to do the things I dreamed of someday doing and couldn't, To never take Sugar medicine, Blood pressure medicine, or Cholesterol medicines again. To feel whole inside and out. and to have a longer life span. Is this all worth it for all the struggles, the guilt I feel when I cheat or induldge.. Oh yeah it is worth it..I will live a longer life span too. So if anyone wants to give up, quit cuz it is too hard... sorry, but it is HARD work. I think I work harder on losing weight than for anything else in my life I have done. No one said it would be easy. No one said it would be fun. No one said you would like all the foods you eat. (I hate warmed up veggies, but I have learned to eat them and now some I look forward too). No one said LIFE was a piece of cake.. If this how you feel losing weight and getting fit is going to be like. I suggest you fly on over to another planet.. cuz it is HARD WORK and DEDICATION !!!

There's a quote I love that applies to many things in life & quite fitting for this:
"If it was easy, everyone would be doing it."0 -

I lost 40lbs before starting on MFP. As of Sunday I have lost 5lbs here, so total of 45lbs down0 -
Excellently put. I have very little time for two types of people - those who dismiss weight loss as easy (they tend to fall into the 'move more, eat less' brigade); and those who make little effort and complain at a lack of results. It's one of the hardest things you'll ever do - if it was so easy, there'd be very few fat people.0

Weight loss is definitely hard, and takes time, and dedication. I read something like this somewhere 'time passes anyway, so you may as well spend it getting healthier'.
It's taken me 18 months to lose 60lbs, but now I'm close to my goal (in fact, I reached my original goal ages ago) and very fit, and i intend to keep this off forever now!0 -
Absolutley!!
