About a month ago, I started doing aerobic classes at my gym. I do Zumba on Monday nights and Cardio Dance on Tuesday nights. While I can make it through both classes, I can't always give it 100% AND make it through!
But last night, I hit a mini goal at Zumba! There is a song we listen to that sounds a lot like a Pitbull-type song and at the end there is a good 1.5 - 2 minute instrumental where we have to do a squat, pop up and lift your right leg up and twist (working the core), then go back down into a squat, then repeat on the left side. And we do that until the song ends. It's not easy...
And last night I did it! Full out, 100%, no half-assing the squats or leg lifts, etc. I thought i was going to die but I kept going (this must be what adrenaline feels like) and finished strong. SO excited!
It's the little victories that make you want to keep going.
