I would log it under cardio and probably add up the minutes walking and the minutes running and log as separate activities.

I started day one today. I logged it under cardio as my own exercise. I'm also using the app which tells me my time distance and calories burned.

Wear a HRM and log the cals as a separate C25K entry that I created myself
  • This, but if you can get a HRM watch with a chest strap, you'll know exactly what you burned! :)

I run on the treadmill and it gives me the amount of calories I burn...it's not exact science though. Your best bet is a HRM. If you run outside, I believe there is a running app that will also give you an estimate calorie burn.

I use C25K and Nike Running together. Nike gives me the distance and calories burned. You can also link Nike it to your Facebook account and whenever you start a run, it posts something on FB then you hear cheers/applause when someone likes that post. It is invigorating whenever you hear the cheers and support of your FB friends -- gives you that extra boost

I use endomondo which you can connect to mfp so it will log your results straight away :) look at the apps section

I would log it as intervals.

Use Endomondo and a HR monitor (and a Fitbit). Works great. Exercises automatically upload since they all interconnect.

^^This until I got a Heart Rate Monitor and logged it as my own exercise in cardio.

I started that C25K three weeks ago and that's how I log mine :)
