question about peanut butter

Is there something inherent in peanut butter, that makes it worse to eat than simply it's calories? Am I doing something detrimental to my diet? I really like a Tbsp on bread with honey to tie me over - hunger-wise. Is there something about eating it with starch which is bad?

As long as it fits into your daily calorie allotment I don't think it matters. It is high in calories and fat but it is very filling!
