Hello, Community! My name's Jose, and I've actually been using MFP since January 2012. Back then I weighed 222 lbs., a long way from where I used to be 12 years prior at 165 lbs. The goal was to get down to 199 lbs., and thanks to MFP I made it to 204. But then something happened halfway through the year - I got derailed, and lately my weight has hovered at around 214 lbs. It's frustrating, but I'm working to get back on track and reach the goal I'd set out so long ago. Eating healthy has played a tremendous part, as does keeping an active lifestyle. One major vice that I gave up was soda. I've also committed myself to completing adventure races/mud runs, and did two last year (Warriror Dash; Conquer the Gauntlet). This year I hope to complete even more. So I hope to learn from the Community, perhaps hear some encouragement, get advice and/or fitness tips, etc. If there's anyone in the local area of Norman, OK that would like to work out together feel free to message me. Again, I'm just beginning (again) so I'm not hardcore - yet. But come December I think it will be a wholly different story.
