Vegetarian!

So I really want to cut out meat from my diet for the next two weeks. Yep, officially going vegetarian (for the next two weeks anyways). Does anyone have any tips?

Watch your carb intake; the easiest thing to replace meat with(especially at restaurants) is pasta and bread and that can add up fast.

    It's super easy!
My Food Diary is open to friends.

There are plenty of great meat replacements, from tempah, to setian,Yves, and Litelife, Quorn and Bocca. (I'd stay away from Morning Star if you can).

Lentils beans and oh so much more yummy things!

What's wrong with Morningstar? Their meal starters line is so useful (the ground beef and grilled chicken strip substitutes etc) and boca patties taste like crap. Is there something I should know about MF?

Morningstar uses GMO soy rinsed with hexane. I think Morningstar also tastes likes plastic compared to Bocca. I prefer Quorn because it's soy free.

Ah, ok. They don't have Quorn here I don't think, our grocery stores are Winn Dixie, Kroger and Walmart. Maybe I'll check Walmart; don't really shop there so who knows. Thanks for info.
