Resistance bands, weight lifting, & heavy punching bag?

Hey guys,

I have a question for you. Please don't kill me if this has been asked already so many times :flowerforyou:
My main goal is to tone any part of my body that will let me. I do heavy punching bag as I heard it's good for cardio and hopefully toning my arms/backs etc. I also do jump ropes and squats.

I'm slowly starting to use the bodylastics resistance bands, but are those enough or should I also incorporate real weight lifting?
