Pre workout / Post workout meals

Here is my situation... I work overnights Tues-Friday 9p-7a and I go to the gym about three times a week after work around 9am. I am looking for some ideas on good choices for meals to have before going to the gym and after, but keeping in mind I lay down to go to sleep within an hour or two. Currently I just make eggs 2-3 and an apple before and I skip the after meal.

    Assuming your overall cals and macros are the same, there is little need to worry about nutrient timing, pre/post workout meals, eating before bed, etc.

    Hit your macros/cals, then let gym performance and sleep quality determine what you eat when.

    A protein shake may be good after working out. Get some goodness in you and fill you up a little, but not too heavy on the stomach for going to bed.
