Hi All,
I am currently following the hairy bikers diet. I bought their cook book and the food is AMAZING!! All their meals are under 500 calories. They lost 3 stone each in 3 months. Since 7th January I have lost 12lbs. I am so happy I have finally found a real food diet!
My partner, brother and his girlfriend plus a couple of my friends are also eating the meals so we have been exchanging pictures of our lovely home cooked meals.
Just wondering if anyone else is having the same success???
Kirsty

I have the book and have been using some of their recipes, but haven't followed it faithfully. That said the recipes I have tried have been great and used more than once.0

been using it the last couple of days made the burgers altho i added some carrot to the mix and instead of basil leaves etc i had lettuce a cheese slice some tomato as well as ketchup and low fat mayo but i measured and weighed everything and they were amazing last night i made the sweet and sour chicken fakeaway and that was nice hubby dont like pineapple very much but he felt it actually was a nice dish not too sweet and i added beansprouts and served with rice and tonight i am doing the paprika chicken with mash potatoes but i expect it to be equally as nice as the previous nights0

Really interested to jump on the Hairy Dieters Diet Club band wagon.
Mum bought the book for me last year and have had a few recipes from it but not really used it as a diet plan before.
Until now.
Bfs parents have been following the recipes and absolutely swear by it so thought it would be worth giving it a try.
I was on the Slimming World plan from Oct - Jan and lost 2 stone but I found it expensive, difficult to fit into my weekly routine and a lot of "you can't have this" and "you can't have that".
I'm off to The States in June so I'd love to lose another 7lbs before then, any more is a bonus.
Can anyone make any specific suggestions for the diet plan? What are the best, easiest meals? What do you snack on if you need to? Do you exercise as well?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Would 100% recommend the spanish bake, was amazing, though you might want to tailor the tomato/pepper amount to your personal taste as my family aren't massive tomato eaters and i sliced the garlic rather than leaving it whole.
Skinny lemon cakes I make without the lemon so they're like small bluberry muffins, though my mixture made way more than 12, perhaps I need bigger cake cases.
The only problem I have had is the meatballs, I used water instead of red wine (its an option) but combined with the actual water required the sauce wasnt thick at all, anyone recommend/made it with success and can tell me where I clearly went wrong?0
