9 weeks till the beach :/

Hey everyone,
I am 30lbs heavier than I would like to be, and in 9 weeks time I face the daunting prospect of a beach holiday... I know there's no way I'll be my goal weight by then without amputating a few limbs, but I would like to be considerably happier with my body.
I want to do this the proper way, so I'll be cutting out all my junk food loves, doubling my water intake and exercising 3-4 times a week.
Just wondering.. has anyone here managed to lose a considerable amount of weight in 2 months? Healthily? I'm looking to lose 10lbs but the more the better. And how did you change your lifestyle to do it?
