It doesn't matter if it's healthy or not--I'm just curious what everyone's favorites are. Mine is grilled corn on the cob :)

Never thought of that as a festival food. Then again, I grew up on a corn farm. Mine would have to be elephant ears, deep fried dough covered in cinnamon and sugar. MMmm.

  • Even though french fries are something I can get anytime, there is just something about those big fat ones, in a paper, red and white checkered tray, covered in vinegar!!! GAWD!

    Where do I begin?!

I do love fresh cheese curds, but I have fun just trying all of the different foods that the fair has to offer. My husband and I are going to spend a day trying foods there that we've never had before. Om nom nom.

Older video, there are actually more things on a stick every year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-5Lr2IhB_o

Here in Fresno, California.. has to be these rolled soft tacos.. which I will avoid because they are greasy as heck now that I think about it. Oh and a beer on tap.. they seem to be much more enjoyable when it 102degrees and your walking..

Use to be the Cinnamon Roll but the quality has since sunk.. I make them better from home.,.... :-)

Or In Michigan They are called Elephant Ears- or Funnel Cakes.

I love the butterfly chips, and the elephant ears, and I try to always get a caramel apple.

but then there are the polish sausages and peppers, and .... well really I could go on.
