Filling Foods

I have been dieting since January 1st and there are days where my calorie intake is fine but on other days I feel like no matter what I eat I am still hungry. Does anyone have any tips on more filling foods?

Any help would be great.

    Lentils
    I can get full on a small amount of egg noodles, or pasta

    Chicken, eggs, Greek yoghurt, protein shake smoothies, tuna, cottage cheese.

    Fiber rich foods or protein heavy foods tend to be more satiating, also boiled white potatoes
  • Foods that are high in fiber keep you full longer...I like fruit so I eat apple slices and strawberries when I get a hunger pang or drink a glass of water that helps make you not feel as hungry

    if i eat a breakfast with egg whites and all that, it usually doesn't keep me full until lunch,
    if i make a smoothie, it does
    1 cup acai berry juice, 1 cup frozen mixed berries, 1 banana, and 1 kiwi, yum!!!
    lunch i do either grilled chicken w/bruschetta, or mushrooms and spinach
    afternoon snack, chobani yogurt
    dinner, varies, last night we had turkey chili.
    after dinner, i'm not hungry.

    ^^^this, also I find that if I'm really hungry & already ate my snack, drink hot green tea, it helps my hunger for a good 2 hours.
