Pregnancy and Weight Loss

I have a question for moms. I am in my last trimester and experiencing strong sugar cravings. Leg cramps and restless legs are only making it worse. I am wondering if the lack of sleep could be related to these cravings? Is that normal? It would be great if someone can share experiences or tips in countering this. The test results for my glucose test for gestational diabetes are within the normal range. I was already overweight by the time I got pregnant. The doctor recommended that I ideally should not gain more than 25 lbs. I have gained 15 lbs since I got pregnant. Is it still possible to lose weight while pregnant. I walk most days of the week. I don't have a gym membership. I am not dieting but I try to eat healthy. I do indulge once in a while but not go overboard. My only concern is to not have complications in my pregnancy or with the baby.
