FitBit/ How to eat/ what I log

Ok, so I started wearing a fitbit. According to this thing I burn like 1400-1600 cals without any added exercise. My calorie limit right now is 1200-1400 without eating anything back. Should I log the 1400-1600 calories I burn just from living? Should I be eating at least that? I'm sorry! I just am new and want to do this right.

What method did you use to set your Activity Level in MFP. FitBit activitiy automatically comes over and updates MFP and gives you the calories if they are above the Total Daily Energy Expendenture you set (Sedentary, Lightly Active, etc).

I think sedentary or lightly active? I'm in class everyday so I just thought I wasn't really moving that much... My fitbit connects to mfp? Did I miss something?

I have been using Fitbit with MFP for about a month now. I am in similar calorie intake to you and I have MFP set at sedentary. I sync the fitbit regularly throughout the day and have the negative calorie adjustment opted in. The fitbit sometimes estimates my calories burned a good 200+ more calories than MFP allows me. (sometime my workdays are at a desk and sometimes not). That is without any added exercise other than what life brings me. When I allow myself to eat those Fitbit adjustment calories I am gaining wait. this week I am going to log my actual workout activity, but ignore the extra ones the fitbit gives me and see what happens.

I use my fitbit to track my steps and sync to MFP, I usually eat back most of the calories, but keep a deficit overall. It's worked great for me so far.

So you just keep a calorie deficit between the food and what fitbit says? I just don't understand. So if my fitbit says throughout my day I burned 1700 cals, how many should I be eating that day?
