Research model for calorie calculator?? Help!

How can one calculation website give me BMRs, TDEEs and daily calorie recommendations that are more than a thousand calories apart from each other based on a research model? Which one should I actually use?

According to the Katch-McArdle and Cunningham models, I should be eating about 2k per day (a 20% TDEE deficit). However, the Mifflin-St.Jeor and Harris-Benedict models say I should be eating upwards of 3k.

I have a pretty active job-- for 4 hours every day, 6 days a week I am walking around a large store, going up and down ladders, pushing around loaded carts/pulling around pallets, and lifting boxes that are often more than ten pounds and can be as heavy as fifty. Originally, MFP gave me 2,070 calories at the 2lb/week goal. For about a week I ate slightly less than 2,000 calories daily and felt proud of myself, except that I got frequent headaches and felt lightheaded. My body fat percentage is 56, according to a website calculator based on body measurements.

Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Katch Mcardle is probably the best start as long as you know your body fat%.
If you need help just search the forum for Road Map.
Send me a friend request if you want to give it a try.

Oh hello, Dan! I actually read your post just yesterday-- someone linked it in the Success section-- and that's how I found the body fat calculator. :) But I didn't bookmark it and I forgot what it said about research models, I only remembered them being mentioned haha. Thanks for the prompt reply.
