Holiday Help!!!

Hey! I've managed to drop 8lb so far however I want to achieve another 15lb. I'm going away at the end of February and would love to loose as much as possibly by then (without going mental!) I'm currently on 1200 a day plan but not sure if I dare go any lower struggling to get my head around the whole loss calculation requirements Im 5ft 10 / 176cm & 11st 4lb / 73kg (24yrs) my BMR calculation is: 1560 & TDEE is: 1872. Any suggestions on if lowering my calorie count (even by a few 100) would help or slow my loss down?! (exercising 3-5 x a week) Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

You are already eating too little. You should aim in between TDEE and BMR. Eating below BMR slows metabolism.

You definately don't need to lower your calories! You don't want to sent your body into starvation mode where it will begin to store fat.

I agree with the previous post. You are eating too few calories. If you exercise without eating back any of those calories, you won't lose. Your body is in conservation mode to prevent starvation. I just changed y cals back to 1400 because I was burning 1000+ daily and not eating those back. Was losing for a couple days, then nothing. Now that I've upped my intake to 1400 and still burning 1000+, I'm seeing a daily weight loss.

You have to give your body fuel to burn.

1200 is too low.. go up to 1400 and make sure to exercise as much as you can. I did the 1200 for about 5 weeks and was going to bed hungry every night. It sucked. I truly believe 1200 or less is starving yourself.
