"Military Diet"

I found this while browsing pinterest today. I'll admit it...my guilty pleasure is fad diets.
Now I know the drill....you eat your calories, only your calories, eat healthy, excerise. There is not magic pill.
But this is still interesting to me.
Thoughts? Any military out there that have heard of this and/or actually used it?
To me, it seems the calorie counts almost equal out to a kind of IF pattern....3 days super low calories, then 4 days "normal", then 3 days low again.

I have a bunch of friends in the military and asked them when I first saw this diet and no-one had every heard of it!0

I tried it last mo. just to try, it was very difficult, even though it was 3 days, did loose 5 lbs in 3 days, but it was an awful diet, I hate canned tuna!0

I don't mind canned tuna...although I usually eat it w/ mayo. LOL0
