What calorie deficit?

So I've read IPOARM, and have been trying to figure out where I need to keep my calories. I have a BodyMedia device (the Link). I feel that it's pretty accurate in tracking my calories, I've compared it to my Polar FT4 when exercising and they're really close and I can tell when I am more active and the calories burned seems to be on target.

What calorie deficit should I shoot for? I'm hoping to lose 2lbs a week which would be 1000 calories a day, but is that to low? I think the BMF would be more accurate than TDEE, but I'm not sure. I opened my diary. I haven't been doing this long (with the BMF) just a couple of days, but I want to make sure I'm on the right track.

FTR: I'm 5'3" Started at 210, now 180. I'm averaging about 1500-1600 calories a day and maintaining between a 1000 and 1200 calorie deficit (according to my BMF).

Thanks so much for any input!

you've lost 24 pounds eating 1500 calories per day? I'd stick with what works, if I were you, and stop worrying. Just keep doing it!

Haha the bulk of the loss was before I came back to MFP. I was on one of those really strict pre-packaged diet plans. It worked wonders but wasn't compatible with my lifestyle. Plus when I was worried about ground orange peel in my cooking spices I knew I was living in an extreme I couldn't maintain. I'm just getting back into the MFP logging and good old fashioned exercise :)
