    omg! LOL mine are on the right too!
    i looked again and mine are 2 next to each other like urs but its a little higher than my lip.... its like above my lip on the right.... then i have a monroe on my lefu and one on my forehead and another on my right cheek....

    beauty marks is the same as saying Tiger stripes to stretch marks, people call them what makes them feel better..lol..
    no the reason they called them beauty marks is because in the old days they WERE considered beautiful..... :) tiger stripes are just made up 2 make people feel better... not beauty marks there is a reason for this name... :)

    They tend to crop up more as we get older. I'm sure that I didn't have plus 80 moles (because yes, they are moles. Moles do come in more than one type than the one on the end of a witches nose) when I was a kid but I do now, and I'm finding new ones fairly often too. I've even had to have one removed.

    Get acquainted with melanoma. If the moles are irregular in shape instead of circular, are multicoloured or flaking it's indicative of cancer. Keep an eye on them for changes over time, maybe make a chart so you can track new ones as they show up. If you get concerned, take her to the doctor, it's just better to be safe than sorry.

    I don't mind the moles on my face too much. Character and all that.

    They are still moles. And there's nothing wrong with them, or calling them what they are.

    i did find out why they call them beauty marks.. because back in the old days if u DIDNT have them on ur face u werent as pretty.... lol... weird huh..

    tiny moles that are in random places are not beauty marks. what you are referring to as "ew" moles are beauty marks see cindy crawford.

    tiny moles that are in random places and are flat and appearing are sun damage/freckles and there are many many products out there to get rid of them. even complexion essence and mask are one of them but every skin care and make up line makes something for this problem which you think is a step above what supermodels have gotten rich off of.

    I thought beauty marks were what our moms called moles when we were kids so we would develop healthy self esteem. I am pretty sure I knew they were moles by second grade at the latest.

    Not necessarily. They do come in big and small sizes but they will be raised from the skin, yes, even if just by a bit. Likewise their appearance on the skin will not be dictated by what portions of skin get the most sun, such as cheekbones, the nose and shoulders, and can appear anywhere as freckles do. Plus, freckles come with the added benefit of having a tendency to fade over time if you avoid sun.

    Yeah I have them on my arms legs torse butt feet face neck and even my hands. I would only become concerned if they get DARKER and bigger (circumference wise). She is a kid, probably the first of many freckles/moles she will have. Certain heritages can increase your likelyhood as well as amount of them on your body. I am part french which is where mine comes from, my grandma who is almost all french has even more.

    Dont worry about it. Nobody cares about a few brown spots, they arent gross or ugly. I think theyre actually pretty cute.

    Moles can be flat and/or raised. They can grow hair or not. They can also be cancerous, "abnormal" or benign. Those of us with lots of moles should go to the dermatologist and have them checked once a year. I've had SIX come back as "abnormal" which basically means the type that can easily become cancerous. Those were about half and half raised and flat. What you need to watch for are those that are bigger than a pencil eraser, black, or have irregular borders.

    I also have one on my face in a beauty mark position. Kid made fun of me in 6th grade for it. Proves kids can be mean, nothing more.

    Just exactly what i said because they are age spots/sun spots that's why old people have them because they have been around longer and that's why skin care and make up companies like mine sell products to erase them, geesh what is up with this girl? is this a girl or a woman, I don't get her? Honey you seem to be fishing for compliments but catching nothing but negative attention. Why don't you think before you speak...er, type. Calling moles "ew" was bad enough but now you are flip flopping no i dont have the ew raised ones but wait they are on models okay then yes I have two but some of the other ones too just in case those are beauty marks. why don't you go wash your face and see if there are any left and they weren't all just chocolate sprinkles to begin with, cupcake.

    I have quite a few moles, including the monroe kind. Runs in my family. I'd love to be able to afford to have them all removed. I do see a dermatologist once a year to have them checked out--there's too many of them for me to keep track of and remember if anything has changed or not. I've had two taken off over the years that looked suspicious but turned out to be nothing.

    My husband's side of the family gets skin tags.

    Hopefully my daughters don't inherit both!

    Dermatend. Works wonders. I removed 3 from my face, no scars.
