Motivation wanted

I am approaching the life change and had thyroid cancer recently. Weight is shifting in a nasty way and I need to lose . Do you follow strictly calories or try to follow a certain plan?

    I follow calories, cholesterol, sodium and sugar. Since beginning here in Septembet of 2012, my chol has gone from 239 to 183. Blood Pressure has dropped enough to begin weaning from medication, ive lost 31 pounds and I'm no longer pre-diabetic. It depends on what issues you are dealing with. If you are seeking friends, I'm here every day for the last 130+.

    Go for it. If I (a lazy scum) can do it then of course you can do it. For the first month i was on my own and for the second I got 1 friend to advise me and for next month I am on spree to add friends.
