Working mommies?

For all the working moms out there, when do you work out and what do you find to be the most effective use of your time? I was fairly active before I had kids, but am finding it so hard now to begin an exercise program. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a constantly changing schedule, so I try and work out in the morning before i have to be at work. I'm doing the couch to 5k running program, and on my off days I try to do some yoga on my wii fit.
My son is not quite 2, so I can plop him in the stroller and take him with me when I run, but I prefer to do yoga before he wakes up or when he's napping.0 -
I have a three year daughter and a full time job as a teacher, so I totally know where you're coming from. So, with juggling between preschool drop off and going to work, finding time to work out is VERY hard. If I'm disciplined enough to get up early (which I prefer), I like to get up early and go for a run from 6:00 am to 7:00 am while my husband is home. But realistically, I have to work out after work. Luckily, I get out from work early enough that I can get in a run while my daughter is still in preschool. I used to take her out in the jogging stroller, but now that she's older - she is getting more restless. So, it bums me out that she's kind of outgrowing it. As for the gym - there is a great Kid's Club at our 24 Hour Fitness, so I'll drop her off there in the morning (on the weekends) while I do a class or use the cardio machines. But I have to get there early (before 9:15) or they'll be a wait.0
