For all those who don't know the benefit of Prunes:

Prunes are basically dried plums, European variety.They add a powerful dose of fiber and some nutrients. Prunes are a sweet way to add fat-free laxative fiber to your diet.A single prune contains more than half a gram of fiber and more than one gram of sorbitol (a carbohydrate that our bodies do not absorb well). Per Prune is about 20 calorie.

    I'd only class that as a benefit if you're constipated, I don't think laxatives whether natural or not should be touted as a 'weight loss aid'.
