Has anyone found the weight loss dates on this site accurate? You can see it when you enter your current and goal weight in the settings, it will say something like "You should lose 5.0 lbs by March 7." Assuming you stick to the calorie intake and exercise, has this weight loss estimate been about right for you?

No its just an estimation based on your body losing that weight every week.. it would be best to ignore those estimates... especially if you don't measure everything, your creating a huge deficit, your overestimating your exercise, etc, etc, etc, etc etc etc etc..0

No, not really accurate, because weight loss is NOT linear. You can't count on 2 lbs a week. it might be 1, then 3. or 0, then 2.0

I have never met the goal MFP has said... weight loss isn't linear and no matter what you do you may not lose each week. Some weeks you will stay the same and some you will gain.
The key to the estimations is that it says "if everyday were like today"... how many days are you exactly the same as you were the day before. The estimate it gives is simply a math equation... unfortunately our bodies do not respond to simple math.0
