Understanding: Goal Food Exerise and NET

I posted earlier and maybe I am confused on how to effectively use myfitnesspal to acheive my goals.

Goal = 1500
Food = 1652
Exericse = 966
Net = 686

Maybe I can get a better understanding of what these numbers really mean to me so I can ensure that I am getting the most out of the foods I'm eating and the exercise I'm putting my body through.

height 5'2 weight 203 goal weight 130 or less

I exercise 4 to 5 times a week cardio and weight training.

    Your goal should equal your net at the end of the day.

    Net means what you have eaten (+food) minus what you have done (-exercise)

    FOOD - EXERCISE = NET

    GOAL - NET = REMAINING

    You should eat until "remaining" is zero.

    MFP gives you your food goal at the lowest it should be. That means without even exercising you will lose weight. But exercise is obviously important and helps build muscle and take away the fat faster so you need to log what exercise you do and then eat those calories that you've burned. Otherwise you won't be eating enough and although you'll lose weight at first, it'll plateau as your metabolism slows down.

    Losing weight the healthier way will give you better results in the long term. You'll also be less likely to crash and burn and "quit"
