Working out at home is NOT the same as the gym... mostly mental I know. I'm in a spot where I can't get to the gym for awhile with my schedule, and not working out is def not an option! That being said, any tips/tricks to get pumped up for a home workout?

  • Whenever I workout at home I like to blast music in my room/apartment/house... especially some club beats to get me in the zone... plus a silly song comes on (Ke$sha's gonna dye young) and it keeps me motivated in between reps. Plus u can wear whatever you want at home so choose something bright with a good fit, it gets you comfortable and able to zone out. I wear rainbow boy shorts from victoria secret for example, because I could never wear that at the gym.

I realize its different for everyone... but these are a few things I do.

i have never been to a gym, so i am just fine at working out at home... like you said, its in your head, either you put the effort in or you dont, regardless of your surroundings.

LOL! Very good points! I will be wearing something ridiculous just because I can while I blast music. :)
