What changes have you made since dieting? What's your story.

I don't really consider this a diet, I consider it a lifestyle change. I became serious about this on 01/12/2013 when I started walking. I walked 9+ miles that day and stopped eating fried foods...Okay, I've had two JITB fried chicken sandwiches since then, and I believe some nuggets and fries on another occasion. I also watch what I eat at ff restaurants bc that's all that I eat. I used to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner at McDonald's. Now, the only thing I get there is a diet soda or oatmeal. If I go to other ff places, I normally get grilled chicken, or I'll get some type of microwaveable dinner from the store. I'm trying to stick to sugar free soda and tea. I only accidentally drank some of that 10 calorie soda on a few occasions bc I didn't know that it had real sugar in it! I've lost about 8 pounds since then and can wear pants that I struggled to zip up last year. I try to walk at least 4 miles when I do go out for a walk. I've logged 59+ miles since 01/12/2013. What's your story?
