Carb or No Carb...That is the question

With all the info that's for and against low carb diets, I can say this with certainty: In a 7 day time span I can significantly lower my body weight and tone up my muscles by reducing my carb intake to 75 grams per day (same calorie intake, just reduced carbs). Once I go back up to 100 + grams per day, my water weight returns and my muscle definition diminishes. I've tried this twice in the past few months with the same result. I've come to the conclusion that I like carbs and would rather keep my weight down and muscle tone up without giving up carbs. Anything below 75 grams and I'm miserable.

you would get more help on the general diet section but ill help you.
its about the callorie intake which comes in.
1 gram carb has 4 calories
1 gram protein has 4 calories
1 gram fat has 9 calories
people do high protein low carb high fat. IMO its about ballance 40% protein 40% carb 20%fat but everyone diffrent carbs is what the muscle made of ur muscle is 80% water and carbs contain water. hence the water carbo-Hydrate hydrate means water. you need protein to repair but people put to much emphasis on protein and not enough on carbs so at the end i hope i did not bore you LOL its about finding a ballance

I would go 1 - 0.8 grm protein per bodyweight
