Bumping for my weigh-in on Wednesday morning

1 1/2 hrs of P90X plus ran 2 1/2 miles.
Logged and am under calories but I had homemade hamburger vegetable soup that is high in sodium from the tomato juice!:huh: so we will see how weigh in goes!! Best wishes girls!0 -

HEY SIXERS!!! ITS 6:50 in the AM and I am up, and getting ready to go to the gym! :noway: :grumble: :noway: :ohwell: :bigsmile: <-my mood process first thing this morning..... lol!
So I did SOOOO great yesterday, I ate amazingly healthy, I burned 930 cals at the gym, and I got in all my water! although I am a little afraid I ate toooooo little, I finished the day out only consuming around 725 calories, and before exorcise I have 1240 available to me... so we shal see how I hold up at the gym today. I am excited to keep this momentum going, So today,
Water: minimum 80 oz!
Exorcise: minimum 1 hr
Cals: 1240, if not under!
Oh on a side note, Ive been having throat soreness the last two days, I am REALLY praying it isnt a cold coming on, I dont want to be sick on or even before my birthday!!! So away I go now to eat my 1 cup of special k, and my Activia yogurt! haha

It is supposed to get about 70 today so we are off to the zoo this afternoon. If you ever get to St. Louis we have a great zoo and it's free! I have AWOL this week, sorry. I pop in and read what is going on. You girls are so energetic in the morning. I guess I used to be. Now I like to have my coffee and spend some time reflecting in the morning. I like the quiet before the day begins.
I am only down .2 lbs and pretty happy to have done that. My eating has been all over the place and my exercise has been zippo. I went back to the foot doc yesterday and got a cortizone shot in my heal. My friends were saying it would hurt but he froze the skin a a bit and it didn't hurt at all. He also said he needs to lengthen the tendon in my foot and that it would requite surgery. YUK! I would need to keep it immobile for 3 weeks. So I guess that will get done in the summer on break. So till then it will be c-shot city every 2-3 weeks.
B- when is your birthday? Good luck on your goals. I agree with Amy, you have great energy in the morning!
Amy- You reminded me to change my goal for this challenge. Thanks. I had a student teacher this week who lost 105 lbs on weight watchers. It worked out great for her. I thought that was amazing. She is only 5 ft tall. I tried it once and never could get the whole counting thing down. I like MFP for the journaling of food. It just fits me better.

Sandy -- a loss is a loss ! WAY TO GO ! ...... awwwwww i love that name Ella ! i hope you and her have a fabulous day at the zoo! that sounds amazing ! My mornings are chock a block it seems like ... i read my bible study .... (im doing the love dare now) and i try to work out ! succeeded this morning hehe ! yay ! awwww so sorry you gotta get shots every so often to keep your foot from hurting..... but i agree.... when they freeze the area it doesnt hurt a bit ! .... yikes... surgery ! ick ! ... you will do GREAT ! Yea i lost one time ago on weight watchers but the difference was i was living at home ... i was 16... i was in high school .... i didnt have to cook, clean much, OR have a hubby or a child to take care of .... so i had nothing better to do with my time then focus on the points .... Up 0.2 this week. I thought it was going to be worse. I had a lot of sodium this weekend, and more sodium yesterday than I wanted. I really think the switch from diet to regular coke has helped though. Now I drink mostly water, coffee and tea, with 1-2 regular cokes a week, instead of just drinking diet sodas for all of my liquids. It certainly puts it into perspective for me how much soda I should be drinking when I'm also having to account for it being 140 calories a can. Even diet soda is not a health drink.
We're closing on our house TODAY, so over the next few weeks, there is going to be a flurry of home improvements. My birthday is right in the middle of all of it (April 6th) but I kinda feel like I'm getting a house, new appliances, new carpet, a great paint job, etc for my birthday. Definitely the best present ever!

Hi Ladies.
Weigh in for me tomorrow. Still in a lot of pain and not looking forward to the scale tomorrow. But on the up side, for whatever gain I have this week from womanly crap, then that means an even bigger loss next week I hope. Staying away from salt and getting TONS of water in (I know I hit the 64 oz already, but lost count after that). Zumba for me tonight I hope.

Hey sixers! only stopping in for a quicky (hAHAHAHAHHA) update.
just got back from the gym, did c25k week 4 day 1 (again) which took about 30 mins, and then did 30 minutes on the elliptical with a resistance o 10 and i can tremember wut the incline was, prolly 10 also...
But total was for 1 hour and 7 minutes, and I burned 902 calories!

Good morning! I didn't lose all the water weight from over the weekend. In fact, I gained a bit from yesterday's weigh-in. I did well until yesterday afternoon when I got snacky. I also didn't get all my water in.
B - I love your energy in the morning! :happy: I wish I had it. I feel more like a slug early in the mornings. Part of that is getting to bed so late. I am a night person and always have been. But the kids have to get up at 6:15 am. That doesn't give me much sleep. I'm doing so much better since I started exercising more, but I haven't exercised the last 2 days and I'm starting to feel it. Back to it today!!
Sandy - Oww! I'm sorry to hear about your future surgery. Hopefully you'll be able to recover in less time than you were told. :flowerforyou: I hate getting the cortizone shot too, but I LOVED how it felt the next day!!! Had one about a year ago for my toe. I was hoping the doc would give me one last time I was there in Oct, but he didn't.

Hello ladies! Sorry I have been MIA. My family has been here visiting so I wasn't on the computer. So overall I'm up 0.2 lbs but I'm still down 4 so I guess I'll be glad about that!
I finally took the leap and joined that other gym I was mentioning - the one I went to before we moved out here. Funniest thing: a good gym friend / instructor of mine from that gym in my hometown has moved here and is at this new gym! I was so happy to see her. We'd been catching up and I told her that I'd been doing personal training / birth doula stuff until becoming a Mama. I said I would probably re-do my group fitness cert rather than training for now, only because it fits so much better with the idea of any scheduling and she said they really need more teachers for the club (it's the national rather than the provincial certification and very few people here have that so they're in high need). I was excited to hear that and it really got me thinking about whether I should consider doing that now rather than later. Something I have to look in to. Because it's not with the provincial organization there aren't courses offered very often and they're on the mainland but it might be a good idea. Hmm..... :bigsmile: Anyway, it's been great. I got up at 5 yesterday to go to a bodypump class (my first in 7 years) and I had a big dumb grin on my face the whole time. I also started my yoga session last night (taught by one of my closest friends and attended by another of our closest friends) which was 1.5 hours of amazing. Tough after the exhaustion of bodypump but amazing nonetheless. Feeling really positive about making the changes I want to see!

So I am sitting at a table in between classes, eating my TASTY bento box, which i will tell you about later, first, PERSONALS!!!
Amy!- My motivation SISTER! haha! I debated around for forever on whether or not to get a HRM, and I am SOOOO glad I did. I went ahead and got a Polar F6, it really is worth the price tag, its easy to use, the strap gets a VERY accurate heat beat measurement, it keeps track of my exorcise for a week, it tells me how many calories I burn, and in all honesty I got the pink one, and it looks SUPER cute, I wear it 24/7 as a watch now! haha! YAY special K! I have the fruit and Yogurt cluster kind, I love it! plus I am like a 5 yr old, I love seeing the milk turn Pink! :laugh: and WE CAN DO THIS!!! WE CAN BOTH MEET if not BEAT our goals!!! I know it! we need to remain focus, not give into temptation, and push our selves to be the women we want to be!!! :drinker:

And I really dont have a very good attitude when i first wake up, all of my ex's say I am a (pardon the language) a "*****zilla" the first 5 minutes I am awake, I am also a nightmare to wake up.. I should have a thought bubble permanently plastered above my head when I am sleeping that says "Wake with caution" or "Wake me and Die" hahahaha! :laugh: And to answer your question my birthday is next wednesday, March 31st! I will be turning 20! yay me.... sorta... And yay for you losing the .2 pounds! any loss is a victory!!! Oh and one more side note I LOVE ZOO's! Okay, I think I got everyone, so to everyone who hasnt checked in, and if you are reading this and not planning to check in PLEASE do, we would really like to do a name confirmation, the list of names seems a LOT bigger than the amount of people posting, so Tiff, Tamm, other Amy, Em, and others, We know your busy but just bump so we can make sure your still on the list!!!
So my bento box, I truly believe I am starting to become a good cook! Today I baked 1/2 of my tofu block, (which I had cut up in 5 long strips, then sliced each of those strips in 3rds) with Nothing on them, I steamed my brown rice in my rice cooker, so that completed 1/2... 4 pieces of baked tofu (small pieces not strips) on top of 1 cup of cooked rice with 1 tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce. The other half was 1/2 of a cucumber sliced, and then diced, with 1 cup up roma tomatoes, which i put 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil (it was low something i just can remember what) and a little bit of Salad spice. Believe it or not, i am learning that the food that goes in my mouth doesnt have to be COVERED in *kitten* for it to taste amazing! It was REALLY good, And I am super full. plus eating with chop sticks allows for one to eat a lot slower!! And all of that only came to 392 calories! :bigsmile:
On a side note, I just remembered, last night on the phone my boyfriend and i talked about my weight loss journey, what i did in the past, and what I am doing now. He has really been motivating me lately. And last night he challenged me. He challenged me to be a Size 10 by the end of the summer. (oh to explain how this came about I have to tell everyone, Yesterday, for the first time since last spring (when i lost 10 pounds of MFP) I fit into my size 14 pants!!! YAY ME!). He promised me/ bet me, that if I could fit into a size 10, that he would take me on a weekend getaway ALL expenses paid... :bigsmile: So hopefully, I am REALLY praying/going to work, to being a size 10 by mid summer so that I can go all the way to a size 8 be the end of summer! We will see though, need to keep this motivation going for that to happen!!

I AM SO GLAD WE CAN BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER ! i am so looking into buying one of the heart-rate moniters ! i would love to know how much i ACTUALLY burn in a day running after this kid of mines hahah ! you are super cute about the milk turning pink ! I STILL LOVE mines turning chocolate from cocoa pebbles sometimes .... hahah..... AND the snap ... crackle... and pop .... of the rice krispies HAHAHA ! we are total nerds ... and i love it ! hahah ! yay for making awesome low-cal bento box lunchies ! and what an awesome motivation ! AHHHHHH to be a 10 again ! lol ... what a dream size ! hahahah ! we can do this !

Well i ate super healthy today ..... under my cals for the first day in weeks.... it feels like.... got in all my water..... drinking more as i type ..... and got in my 2 miles of walking, 15 mins on the WII FIT, and lots of everyday fitness like cleaning, running errands, etc....

Okay just signing on before going to bed to finish logging my food and water! And then i thought, Wow I wonder what my Sixers have been up too, so jumped over and saw that the forums havent moved much Sad, but it is okay! CUZ WE ARE GOING TO KEEP THE MOTIVATION MOVING!!!! (haha Amy, Verda, and I have enough for everyone! lol!)
Really tired, so not going to do personals yet, (do them tomorrow morning!) but Amy its sooo true, size 10 = dream size!, yay for us being nerds, and Verda YAY FOR YOUR LOSS! that is great!!!!!!!!! Your sooo motivational!!! Do you have b-day plans?
Okay so quick, when i left off I was eating my tasty bento box, well I did great the REST of the afternoon, and then my family and I went out to dinner at my FAVORITE restaurant (its a sports bar and grill called Bullfrogs) Anyways for 3 hours before we went I was trying to think of what I could order that would be low cal and healthy, AND NONE OF MY FAVORITES FIT THAT DESCRIPTION!!!! :sad: So I when we got there I was nervous that I would break my streak of goodness and not find anything or that i would try and excuse it and order one of my favorites instead. And I surprised everyone INCLUDING myself when I ordered a Steak salad, with NO dressing, No Extra *kitten*, asked them to give me a small serving of olive oil, and asked them to leave any bead products off the dish. OMG! Plus the dish had potatoes on it, really delish looking potatoes, and here is another thing that shocked even me, Potatoes are one of my BIGGEST weaknesses whether its fries, hash browns, baked, or even raw! (yes i eat raw potatoes lol). I had like 3 of these little pieces of potatoes and then PICKED THE REST OF THEM OUT! I ate my ice berg lettuce and my steak with my little amount of olive oil! haha! I did great!! I AM SOOO immensely proud of myself!
In my mind, I really committed to my new healthy life style tonight... I feel like I have FINALLY turned the page on my old ways... i mean every day is going to be a struggle, but tonight was a BIG win for me! :drinker:
