Demotivated by the cut in goal calories when you lose 10lb??

I understand the science behind it, that my now smaller body uses less calories to run, but it really feels like a kick in the teeth when I needed a reward! I felt so good about losing 10lb but the 50 less calories is making me miserable! To be honest I'm often more than 50 under my goal anyway but suddenly I feel restricted and deprived, it's making me feel hungry and crave bad foods whereas before I felt fine so I know it's psychological.
Has anyone got any tips for adjusting to new goals? I'm so close to reaching for some M&Ms and I know I'll regret it!!!

50 calories is one of those mini bite size candy bars. That's like nothing. If it hurts you that bad go in and change your calorie goals.0

As long as i am losing I'm not lowering my daily goal. If I balance it just right I should be able keep it close to what it is now all the way down.

It can be sad but I tend to get excited over the message cause that means I am doing well. It does take time to get used to the adjustment.0

50 calories is really not too much, don't be discouraged!! Instead of lowering your calories more, have you considered adding in extra exercise? Exercise can help suppress your appetite and cravings and would help you burn more to boot.0

Exercise a bit more, then you can eat more :-)
I'm a big believer in not rewarding yourself with food, seems counterproductive0 -
First of all, food shouldn't be seen as a reward. Second, there is no "bad food." I eat everything I want, in moderation.
50 cal is nothing. Just do 5 minutes of jumping jacks and there you go.0
