Panic Attacks!

You've just got to find whatever ounce of anything you've got, and pick yourself back up. The times that it doesn't work, visualize yourself doing whatever, and force yourself to do it. That's something that works well for me, anyhow. I find by the time I'm on my way to doing whatever it was I needed to do, the ill-feelings have passed.0

yes i have had 2 before... and they dont feel good!!. what I do is drink alot of water and take a bath and calm down.... because seriously i feel like im going to die when i get them lol.... you just have to think postive thoughts0

Sadly I end up needing a nap after those. Something calm that you can do where you are: listening to music, sitting and meditating... a nap. Just a chance to slow down for a bit.0

I get them often, and really bad ones at that. I have ended up at the ER a few times from them because I literally thought I was dying and my heart was failing me. They suck so bad =\ Honestly though, ever since I have been working out daily I have not had them too bad, I wonder if its due to the endorphins from working out.0

I have panic disorder. Many trips to the ER thought I was dying of a heart attack. Definitely suggest seeing a psychiatrist/therapist. I ended up taking clonazepam (10 years now), beats trips to the ER/Urgent care and saves a lot of embarrassment.0

Maybe, but I know what triggered mine. I have this thing with vomit and I can't do that....at all.
It was not as severe as before, the panic attack I mean. Small one but I'm still p. run down.
When I get home I'll take a nap, that sounds like a good suggestion uwu
It's what I normally do...just wondering if there was other ways0 -
I've learned what triggers mine and try to avoid them at all costs. If I eat artificial sweeteners, too much sugar/cheap carbs, not enough rest, too much caffeine, not enough exercise. Sounds like a lot but really it isn't and I'm much healthier in every way when I'm taking care of me. I still get the occasional attack but at least I recognize them now and can get through them. I have found telling my husband that I'm feeling anxious helps me diffuse them before they get too bad because he can help talk me through it. Then I make myself go exercise because it burns off the over abundance of adrenalin that is usually coursing through me.0

I get panic attacks if caught in a crowd. I avoid all malls. I shake, panic and need to flee. Have no clue why.0

Mindfulness Yoga (combination of hatha(stretching) yoga & meditation)
Best thing I have done for my mental and physical health.0 -
I used to get them frequently...turns out I had high blood pressure...doc put me on a med...didn't work, only slightly lowered my BP and I was still getting panic attacks once per week...then he noticed my resting HR was pretty high...put me on a Beta Blocker in addition to my other BP meds and I'm almost normal...resting HR is down substantially and haven't had a panic attack since.0
