It's the little things...

OK, my goal was to run one mile without stopping. I killed that in two weeks.
Then my goal was to do a 5K on the treadmill. First, just to do it...that was 42 minutes. Then to beat that time in under 40 minutes...that's pretty slow BTW. I did 38:30 yesterday. If I stay on this path, I'll be hitting 36:00, dare I even say 34:00 in my next 5K event in 18 days!
Then I remembered...back in December, I bought a pair of size 15 Juniors skinny jeans. First, girls like me wear skinny jeans with a long sweater because we know better. When I bought them, I thought, I just want them to zip up without a muffin top. That's a success there!
I put them on, zipped them up, and I had a gap in the back! Joy! They're still too tight for me to feel comfy wearing them in public around my thigh area, but dammit, I'm calling it a success!
Just goes to show ya, the scale might not budge but the clothes don't lie!
