weight down one day up the next

I know I should not do this but I get on the scales every morning. One day I am down a pound and then the next day up 3 pounds. It is like this all the time down 2 up 4 why why why?

    I weigh everyday too. I can almost always tie mine with what I ate the day before, exercise, water intake and my time of the month. If I get discouraged, I look at a week or two weeks ago to see what I weighed then. If it is going down, then I don't worry about it. Daily fluctuations are normal.:smile:

    I also weigh every day. You will find it fluctuates all the time.
    On a Monday it always looks like I've put on a pound or two
    probably because I relax a little & maybe eat a little more at
    weekends but by Wednesday I've always lost on the previous
    Week.

    Is it really always more up than down? Do you weigh more now than when you started?

    The best advice is just to weigh once a week, at most, but if you are really up four pounds, as you examples suggest, there might be cause for concern.
