While I was in the Army (stateside), I moonlighted as doing concert security.

    Best: (tie) Meatloaf/Harry Conick Jr.

Worst: Guns N Roses. (it's like they didn't even care...

An honorable mention goes to Charlie Daniels. He puts on one hell of a show.

Worst : Jet at Brixton Academy, although they will always sound like a covers band wherever they play. Was with 2 mates, we all agreed they were appaling, so we walked before the end.
Best : New Order at Brixton Academy, quite late in their career, but they were amazing.

Best Ever: 3 way tie and ive been pretty lucky

1985 Van Halen during the 1984 tour (Philly spectrum where they filmed Panama)
1990 Tesla at the Troc in Philly (recorded for their live album Five Man Acoustical Jam)
1990-91 Aersomith/Gnr Philly Spectrum....GNr has a 40min opening set...during Knockin on Heaven's Door Axl jumped off stage, got in a fight, came back on stage and the band never missed a beat.

Worst Concert: Dire Straights like 1993/94....had free tickets to sky box, free beer, but they suck as a band.

Best: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland 2012 - absolutely amazing. No gig will ever live up to this!! It was at least a 3hr set, without any breaks or support acts... Just pure Bruce, and it was fantastic.

Worst: Jon Allen at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham 2012 - at least I only paid a tenner for the ticket.

Best concert by far was Queen at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto 1980
Honourable mention to Rod Stewart - Landsdowne Park, Ottawa 1988 and The Who - Pontiac Silverdome 1982
Worst all time was David Wilcox in London 1989 - we walked out after 1/2 hour
Rolling Stones Steel Wheels tour was pretty lame too but that could have been the venue - Skydome

Hands down will be ANY Coachella event every time:love: It's like a musical, all you can eat, buffet. The only questions are where you should be and when?

    Individual shows:
    A Tribe Called Quest
    Devo
    The Prodigy
    Dwele
    Erykah Badu
    Jill Scott
    Public Enemy
    Mint Condition
    Ronie Size

    Biggest Let Down:
New Order - Could have been the lame venue
Nine Inch Nails - I don't know. I found the show boring.

    Avoid:
    Martin Lawrence

Best: Oingo Boingo Halloween night 1995 at Universal Amphitheater. -or- Zac Brown Band at Verizon Amphitheater -or- B.B. King at House of Blues, Anaheim

Worst: So bad, I can't even remember the name of the band, but I do remember the opening band (Throwing Muses) had an EXCELLENT drummer. Just remembered, Band was New Order.

I'd say at once my best and worst concert was Rush's Time Machine show in Vancouver.
Worst because I was pretty sick the day of and day before, slept for crap the night before, and got half drunk/high on the pot and booze fumes alone and can barely remember a thing (though I do remember being practically carried out after it was done) and best because what I DO remember?
    Bloody ****ing awesome.

Best for me is a tie between U2 and Yellowcard - U2 because last time they toured Oz they had to reschedule their shows and i ended up missing the show (and i was devistated). Yellowcard because last time they toured i left my ex in charge of getting tickets and he didn't and that was the same night that my beloved Sydney Swans made the grand final so a brilliant night was had by all :)

Worst - well i haven't been to that many but the most recent Foo Fighters concert was a little disappointing TBH - just not a good atmosphere at all

Best: Oingo Boingo Halloween night 1995 at Universal Amphitheater.

for this right here sir you win!

I love Oingo Boingo and couldn't get tickets to this show, although some friends went.

I think Boingo is more of a Southern California band more than anything. There were lots of rumors this year that they may reunite for Coachella.

Oh i should add that Adele has the purest voice I have heard live and is just incredible.

    I was blown away.
