I think it would be cool to start a cross country relay. Pass a baton from the East Coast to the West Coast (or vise versa).
Maybe who ever carries it could sign it before passing it on.

Maybe have sponsors...collect money for charity...auction the baton on ebay for charity (after it completes its' journey) .

Or do it just for the fun of it!
