Hey All. I am wondering what kind of heart rate monitors people use. I am concerned about accuracy and effectiveness.

    I've heard super great things about the Polar brand, particularly the FT4 and FT7 model's. And they are more accurate if used with a chest strap. I'm picking mine up tomorrow!

    I have the polar ft4 & I absolutely love it

    I've read a lot of product reviews but I have yet to read any giving consistently high marks for use while swimming.
    Finis makes one that clips the ear. but you don't have a real time display.
