Not hungry but want to eat!

I'm on a new med and as a side effect, it seems to have reduced my appetite. Awesome, right? But I still find myself WANTING to eat. I'll stand in front of the fridge or cupboard and want to put something in my mouth, but I'm not hungry so it's weird. I used to feel hungry all the time. Now I don't know what to do. Anyone have suggestions? Gum? I already drink a ton of water. I need to get this under control now if I want to continue to lose weight, which has been going well. Any help?

Gum is a good start, or those sugar free hard candies that come in fruit flavors, they work really well for me. Or distract yourself with something that keeps your hands busy so you don't think about what you could be eating.0
