Sedentary?

I was on bed rest of sorts since i started MFP and chose sedentary. However, I'm still not really active except when I walk on the treadmill. I typically lose .9 pound a week on 1200ish. So if my only exercise is 45 min max on the treadmill at 2.5mph burning roughly 160-200 cals, do I need to eat my cals back? My BMR is set at 1600 something, but I'm working at wanting to lose about 1.5-2 pounds plus get back muscle tone I've lost from not being able to do anything due to leg surgery. Also, would I still be considered sedentary with that really being my main exercise? I'm on an odd schedule right now which keeps me from doing much, but am getting that worked out. At that point I know I would then change it.

  • I started MFP when I was diagnosed with degenerative tendinosis of the hamstrings and forbidden to run for months if not a year. I didn't know how I would hold my weight being unable to do sports, so I wanted to count calories. From my progress you might see that The weight that I want to come down from is not very high, this is because I took this up as soonas I noticed my weight rising.
Tendinosis or tendinitis isn't as bad as leg surgery, but I just entered myself as 'sedentary' and then add all my exercise separately.
MFP calculates net calories for me (in-out - as it reckons, of course) and I just stay under that. So yes, of course, I eat exercise calories back. Anyway, my exercise is currently too erratic to do it any way differently.
