Positive results from more sleep??

I keep reading studies that show obesity links to sleep deprivation. Just curious if anyone has upped their sleep hours and noticed positive effects. I am thinking this would be hard to measure as if one is dieting, how do you separate the sleep benefits from the equation.

IMO the earlier I go to bed, the less time at night I have to grab that snack during TV time. You can' t eat in your sleep! I have forced myself to get to bed before midnight the past few weeks. Overall I feel good, but wondering if this will play a role in my journey here.

Well... you can eat in your sleep, unfortunately.
Sleep eating disorder seems to me that suffering from it would be absolutely horrible, and make it a huge battle to lose weight.

I always read about those studies too :)

Deep sleep activates release of GH. GH initiates higher fat storage burn.
