Hi everyone! I just started on my weight-loss/tone-up journey, the one I said I wanted to start since I graduated college. I hit the gym today for the first time in ages, and it was HARD. I played volleyball throughout high school, as well as worked on my family farm, so I've always been fairly active. However, since graduating college, I started my first real job, which involved a lot of typing and desk work sometimes as well as some screwy hours. I've gained about 10 pounds in the last few months, and I'm not comfortable with myself anymore.
Here's the basics: I weigh 150, and I want to get down to 130. I also want to tone and tighten everything. Right now, the plan is to work out one hour a day, three days a week. Does anyone have any suggestions for exercises to try for someone starting at square one? What about general motivation? I appreciate it all!
